You should really try and use the messages and not comment on photo's
DH bike sizing is down to personal preference, I know some tall lads who like to ride small bikes and shorter friends who like to ride large sized bikes.
I would suggest that the large size is probably too big for someone 5' tho
It's a Large, i'm 5'10" and suits me fine 
There are no marks on the Stanchions, it's glare from the flash. Forks work perfectly. 
They live not far from me, I know them through friends, riding etc
